About a month ago, my Mom started having some trouble. She has always had some health problems, but was able to live a normal life. In February 2009, these health problems began to impact her to a greater degree. She began having problems with her heart rate and her breathing. She has had two procedures which were supposed to correct her heart rate and yet her heart rate is still abnormal. She has also been on oxygen since. March 1, 2009 we took her back to the hospital and she has had to remain there indefinitely. We have also had a complication. While she has been in the hospital, her kidney function has steadily declined until her kidneys have shut down. She has been put on dialysis for now. She has also been moved to Memorial Specialty Hospital so that they can care for her and hopefully get her going in the right direction.
I hope this has helped to get you up to speed. Please continue to pray for her, specifically for her kidney function, heart rate and her breathing. Thank you again for your concern, her family appreciates it so much.
